TIP FROM MOMS: I used this puzzle as a teething toy when our youngest was growing teeth. I put it in the fridge to cool it for a while and then our little one was happily massaging his gums. The puzzle held him nicely and thanks to the varied sizes of shells he always massaged where needed.

The 4 mini puzzles make up one standard size puzzle piece, so children can build a puzzle according to their own imagination. You can also match mini puzzles to large pieces with the same shape by touch, the so-called sensomotoric memory game.

If the mats become warped, place them on a flat surface and weigh down the warped areas. You can gently heat them and then reapply the weight.
