Family Game Inspiration with MUFFIK Pop It
As parents, we want the best for our children. We look for toys that entertain them while also offering real value. The new orthopedic POP IT mat beautifully combines fun, purpose, and trends that children love long-term.
Classic “pop-it” play, which became a huge hit years ago, has been taken to a whole new level by the MUFFIK team. Beyond pressing the bubbles, the mat supports healthy development of (not only) children’s feet. Exactly what today’s children often need, as they spend a lot of time on flat surfaces and in rigid footwear.
In our home, this mat has become one of the most played-with toys. The kids use it at the table, on the floor, in bed, on the balcony—and we even took it with us during a hospital stay. They invent creative “challenges” and try to beat them in different ways.
How can you play with it?
Treasure Hunters
Hide a bead, candy, or any small object inside. The children take turns pressing one bubble at a time. The goal is to find the treasure—the bubble with the hidden object cannot be pressed. You can play for points or let the winner enjoy the treat.
Mirror Pop-It Game
Seat the children opposite each other. One child presses a sequence of bubbles (rows, columns, shapes, random patterns), and the other must replicate it exactly. A great exercise for focus and spatial awareness.
Dice Race (up to 4 players)
Use a dice and seat players opposite each other. With two players, they take turns rolling the dice and pressing the corresponding number of bubbles. The first to reach the center wins. With four players, each sits on one side of the POP IT mat. Players try to stay in the game as long as possible by blocking others and forcing them out.
Other ways to play include classic pop-it play, tic-tac-toe or sudoku (using colored stickers), combining mats into a sensory path, obstacle courses, or hopscotch.
The mat is incredibly versatile. Toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children, and even adults can enjoy it—especially during family challenges and games.
