What is the Active Set – Big Obstacle Course?

At the heart of the set is the Active Mat – Stump –a multifunctional orthopedic balance mat that also serves as a versatile base for building obstacles. Thanks to the cut-outs in the Stump, Sticks, Rings, Footbridges, and Connectors can be easily integrated to create a unique home obstacle course tailored to your children’s age and abilities.

By assembling obstacles in different ways on the orthopedic mats, children can enjoy countless movement activities – climbing over, crawling through, changing direction, stepping over, moving around obstacles, and running the entire course. At the same time, the soles of the feet are stimulated while naturally strengthening the foot arch.

The set includes a total of 3 Stumps in three colors (brown, beige, gray) and 2 Stump Extensions (beige, brown), which elevate the course and offer even more setup possibilities. The Stump Extension – Tree Trunk serves as a raised base that increases the course difficulty and adds a whole new dimension to every game.

Place the Snowflake on top of the Stump and it transforms into an orthopedic balance mat that stimulates the soles of the feet while strengthening the arches, ankles, knees, and core muscles. Thanks to its unique shape concept, the Stump seamlessly fits together with other MUFFIK puzzle mats.

Connect the Stumps using the Straight Footbridge and the Footbridge with MUFFIK nano puzzles to create a full-fledged balance beam. By mastering the balance beam, children develop coordination, balance, courage, and self-confidence.

One of the footbridges contains cut-outs with sensory MUFFIK nano puzzle pieces, supporting fine motor skills and sensorimotor development for children’s hands while also stimulating bare feet.
